Job Description:

The Head of Product Marketing at Sisense is responsible for leading a small team of product marketing professionals to deliver differentiated messaging and collateral that positions Sisense to compete successfully in the market. Our clients come from every industry, every function, and every corner of the globe. The mission of the product marketing team is to educate these clients - regardless of their background - about our product and services so that they can invest and grow with confidence in Sisense.

Additionally, the Head of Product Marketing will be a key outward facing person responsible for representing the organization, our products, and our services at a number of events throughout the year – both internal and external. This includes working directly with our clients to facilitate their involvement presenting at these same events.

The product marketing team collaborates closely with product managers, sales, and marketing teams on marketing activities and product development. As such, the product marketing team acts as the voice of customers at Sisense throughout the product planning process and will know what our customers want, need and how they use our products.

What Will You Do?

·      Manage a small team of product marketing professionals

·      Develop positioning and messaging that differentiates Sisense products and services in the market

·      Support product launch activities including solution concepts, nomenclature, packaging, positioning, release strategies and sales training as well associated collateral

·      Develop tailored positioning and messaging for industries, functions and regions

·      Develop tailored positioning and messaging for technical audiences

·      Develop deep understanding of the messaging space and trends within BI ecosystem

·      Continually assess BI market and competitive landscape and adapt appropriately

·      Support Marketing, Sales and Partner teams with creation of a rich suite of collateral including product demonstrations, content and value-based selling tools, e.g., ROI, solution sheets, use cases, white papers, presentations and more.

·      Influence product development according to market research, competitive research and analysis.

·      Drive both B2B as well as B2B2C buyer journeys.

·      Influence Product Management requirements based on market research, market trends, competitive research and analysis

MerriWhat Should You Have?

·      6+ years' experience as a B2B software Product Marketing Manager or associated role

·      Highly analytical, results oriented, team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

·      Demonstrated ability to lead high performance teams

·      Experience in business intelligence preferred but not required

·      Functional experience in business analytics preferred

·      Ability to capture and understands cross market customer mindset, user experience, industry trends, platforms / technology and revenue models.

·      Ability to develop deep customer relationships

·      Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits

·      Proven history in marketing products from pre-release activities to post-launch engagement

·      Understanding of consumer emotional triggers and ability to represent the voice of the user

·      Ability to influence sales on market positioning, product positioning and product messaging

·      Command of key marketing and product planning concepts

·      Ability to locate key trends and influence product development

·      Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits

·      Highest ethical standards consistent with the policies and values of the company

·      Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
