We're looking for an exceptional HR Specialist who is passionate about providing support to employees and managing best practices in the Human Resources function. Requires demonstrated experience and ability to develop, implement, support, and review all Human Resource Department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems.  A minimum of 3 years of human resources operations experience is required with a demonstrated emphasis in the areas of employment, compensation and benefits administration, and employee records management. Knowledge of employment regulatory laws is required.

Job Responsibilities:

Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding for all US new hires from welcome to start, including onboarding schedules, weekly new hire sessions and collecting I-9 documents. Input employee information in required compensation and benefits systems, employee information reporting. Manage all employee changes and updates in the systems.  Ensure E-Verify clearance. Manage reverification and system audit to ensure compliance. Provide follow-up support to new hires.

 Benefits and 401K administration: Portals administration and coordination of all employee information changes with payroll. Manage leave and disability administration, FMLA, state, disability insurance and support for employee questions. Coordinate health, life and disability insurance enrollments and communicate with service providers concerning the routine administration of programs.  Ensure compliance with COBRA guidelines by coordinating with a third-party administrator. 

Compliance: Ensure and maintain proper postings, States updates and rates, and filings, including required Labor postings in all US locations (Denver, NY, etc.).  Maintain personnel files in compliance

with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. (e.g. I-9’s) 

Compensation and stock option management:  Manage data input, updates and reporting with HRIS system and 401K provider, and coordination with payroll.


International: Coordinate with international teams to ensure alignment on employee information, and ensure benefits enrollment.


Assist with the annual filing of the Form 5500.

Required Education and Knowledge

  • Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree – in Human Resources is a plus

  • SHRM Certified Professional preferred but not required

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources

  • Strong working knowledge of HR functions and procedures (pay and benefits, employee benefits, compensation and employment best practices and systems)

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT)

  • Outstanding organizational skills; able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
