Cylance is looking for a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team. This position supports the day to day compliance department activities aligned with our mission and strategic plans to further the company objectives, drive results and deliver creative solutions. You will team up with internal and partner resources to effectively develop and promote key initiatives, providing expertise in Information Technology compliance, risk management and internal controls related to data, privacy, network, infrastructure security, software architect and development at Cylance.
Provides compliance support regarding initiatives aligned with subject matter expertise as defined by project plans and prioritization strategies
Maintains the Cynet Compliance Portal and provide tier one support to inquires from DL Compliance mailbox
Provides policy and procedure assessment, alignment and development required to comply with compliance initiatives
Makes recommendations and implements improvements as needed to ensure compliance and IT standards are withheld at all times.
Updates/Communicates compliance requirements, standards, timing and initiatives to control owners and stakeholders
Provides GDPR/Privacy Shield compliance support including:
Create and maintain data and information flows in order to assess privacy risks.
Conduct privacy impact assessments for new product and service offerings.
Assesses 3rd parties privacy compliance as part of the on boarding process
Administers the GRC platform and update as needed, including new control mappings and ownership
Participate in system and software architecture discussions and design reviews
Work with software engineers, product managers and legal, compliance and policy teams to align strategic goals
Establish methods to recognize, anticipate and correct poor privacy designs
Analyze risks in current processes, and prioritize efforts to manage through continuous improvement
Identify and classify data to ensure maximum degree of privacy while enabling the business to drive efficiencies
Enhance CI/CD processes with additional functionality to ensure privacy by design
Create and drive compliance with product privacy principles throughout the product and service lifecycle
Bachelor’s or high level degree preferred; relevant experience can be substituted for educational degree.
3 years minimum related experience in roles aligned with information security compliance, risk management, information technology audit, and/or other related field.
Utilizes expert interpersonal skills to gain and maintain influence and inspire others within the operational function(s) internally and with stakeholders, customers, and others externally.
Expert knowledge of and practical experience with at least one of the following areas of information security or privacy compliance: FedRAMP, SOC2, Privacy Shield, GDPR.
Hands on experience in administering security/compliance tools.
Experience supporting compliance initiatives, reporting on progress and communicating risks to meeting our compliance goals and objectives.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple ongoing, business critical projects.
Strong background with privacy compliance programs and requirements is desired.
Proven track record of developing and delivering presentations to key stakeholders, executives and auditors.
Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
