Cylance is seeking a high-energy, experienced security pre-sales engineer with expertise in the anti-malware space. This individual will manage and contribute to a team that plays an instrumental role in accelerating company sales initiatives at Cylance.
Achieve mastery of all Cylance technologies and effectively position the technology against competitive offerings
Work with upper management to execute organizational plans
Trains and develops team lead and/or individual contributors on various tools, processes, and skill sets to further company initiatives.
Partner with various business units to ensure the stakeholder’s needs are met
Develop strong relationships with key partners
Provides second-level technical support throughout the sales cycle for both customers and partners to remove sales obstacles.
Provide professional responses to customer requests for POCs and RFPs.
Improve and develop technical documentation to ease understanding of customer or channel usage of our products and services
Where possible, improve or develop technical documentation to ease understanding and customer or channel usage of our products and services
Capture requested features and provide feedback to Product Management, Sales, Development, Support, Engineering and Marketing teams
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Infosec, or other related technical field is preferred.
3+ years of experience as a team lead and/or management experience preferred
5+ years of Sales Engineering experience
7+ years of experience in information security and/or relevant technical experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of SE experience
Minimum of 7+ years infosec experience
Must have strong knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques
Requires the ability to work independently with substantial latitude for action and decision while maintaining focus on achieving optimal outcomes as part of a collaborative development effort
Flexible and adaptable self-starter with strong relationship-building skills
Must have a passion for your work and an ability to apply that passion to both daily tasks and larger projects
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Effective problem-solving capabilities
Takes initiative and approaches all tasks and projects proactively
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with little to no supervision

3+ years experience in end-point security preferred
Other applicable vendor-specific certifications in the endpoint security space
Infosec-specific professional certifications, such as but not limited to: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CEPT, OSCP, GPEN, CGEIT, CGIH, CISA, PCI-QSA, CRISC
