Our platform enables drone companies to publish imagery, real estate sites to visualize properties, satellite companies to deliver cloud-free imagery, and insurance companies to analyze assets. Someone who will not only bring amazing ideas but execute them with precision to enable us scale our current processes through the next stage of our growth. We have a rigorous recruiting process with technical and non-technical teams who are excited to bring new people into Mapbox.
You’ll be a Full Cycle technical recruiter owning the entire recruiting process from introductory screening to the offer stage. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to develop and execute strategies for identifying and attracting technical talent. Mapbox is passionate about our candidate’s experience, so being quick on your feet, proactive, and able to manage time and priorities efficiently is critical in order to be successful in this role.
Conduct interviews and reference checks
Coordinate all interviews; travel and logistics for interview sprints
Work within our ATS to ensure consistent tracking and timely candidate management
Work with the recruiting team to source and identify new tools to source for high priority roles
Partner with and manage external vendors for high priority roles
Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring manager and any relevant stakeholders and working cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, and HR
Document our approach to make it easy to replicate, and devise ways to make it better
Identify and represent Mapbox at recruiting and community events
What you bring
Tech-savvy: you speak tech
3+ years experience in recruiting and/or technical recruiting
Experience at a start up or high-growth company
Expert communicator - you write and speak with brevity
Understanding & respect for the value of company culture
Your workflow is seamless and you don’t let anything fall through the cracks
You’re interested in teaching and learning
Not a priority, but a plus
Experience with Greenhouse ATS
This position is based in either San Francisco, CA or Washington D.C.
