DataStax, the leader in data management for cloud applications, is seeking a talented Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join our DataStax team.
Job Description:
As a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible to manage the monthly sales compensation operations from Sales Compensation Plan and Policy distribution, maintain and process sales data for crediting and commissions in Xactly Incent, and provide monthly accruals and commission payroll to accounting. This will be a highly visible role and will work closely with cross-functional teams such as HR, Finance, Sales Operations, Systems and Sales Management. An ideal candidate will be a well-rounded top performer who is curious in how things work, is willing to roll-up their sleeves, and will be a key contributor in a high- growth environment. This role will report directly to the Sales Compensation Manager.
Essential Job Functions:
Ensure accuracy, distribution and acceptance of sales plan documentations to the sales organization
Owns set-up of sales data in Xactly Incent for New Hires, Promotion and Termination
Reconcile SFDC Commissions Report with FP&A Bookings, Xactly and review with management team
Meet month-end close deadlines and delivers monthly accruals and commission payroll to accounting
Administer Draws, MBOs, quarterly commission bonuses and SPIFF payouts
Acts as a commission SME to address sales inquiries and partner with Sales Management, Sales Ops, HR and/or Finance to resolve any issues.
Provide Sales Plan overview and Xactly Incent Training to the sales organization
Perform monthly audits and review of data to ensure crediting and commission accuracy
Proactively continues to explore process improvement and collaborate with the SFDC team to ensure the health of the DELTA process
Provide ad hoc commissions analysis, reporting and support as required
Assists Sales Compensation Manager with Annual Design & Planning
Work with internal/external auditors on commission audits
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 5+ years related experience preferred, which includes a working knowledge of incentive commission plans
BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance or Accounting required
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
Experience with Xactly or equivalent SPM software a must
Working knowledge of SFDC
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in parallel
Excellent communication skills
