LendKey is transforming the $3.6 trillion consumer lending market through its lending-as-a-service solution that enables the nation’s 13,000+ community financial institutions to compete and thrive in digital lending. We are working to solve a complex challenge—to improve lives with lending made simple—by providing borrowers with the simple and transparent borrowing experience they want and need, while helping financial institutions lend capital efficiently, put their best brand in the market, and provide a delightful customer experience. LendKey currently works with approximately 275 credit unions and banks to manage student loan and home improvement loan programs.

The person in this role will be focused on helping to put our Sales team in the best position to succeed as a team, through strategic and analytical support.



Responsibilities:

Provides analytical, strategic, and market research support to Sales team members to help drive introductions to new clients and close prospective clients in the pipeline.
Deep understanding of consumer lending, return on asset calculations, relative value, asset liability management, issues facing lenders today, and able to sell the benefits of LendKey’s solution to help bring clients across the finish line.
Conduct research on new & existing potential prospects, identifying market trends, assessing public filings and quarterly reports of financial institutions
Help craft sales pitch & messaging to new potential clients, appropriately reflecting our value brought to lenders in a straight-forward and analytical manner
Student and subject matter expert on all aspects of LendKey’s Lending-as-a-Service platform.
Understand LendKey’s market position and works to create messaging that positions our strengths versus our peers
Answer RFPs and help clients obtain necessary internal approvals; oftentimes requires accessing and organizing key personnel within LendKey.

Requirements, skills and experience:

3-5+ years of experience in banking, financial research, sales or trading role
Experience in consumer lending, fixed income, or equity products
Analytical mindset and ability to understand financial models
Diligent, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of Banking & Credit Union landscape
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Undergraduate degree required
