Interior Finishes Designer
To provide accurate, timely, reliable digital format and sales presentations of job drawings, proposed drawings to be used with current manufacturing processes and product offerings depending on the complexity of project and type of material needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Initially develop process quotes
Create Digital Catalogs
Use provided information to draw, engineer and develop any outside program
Provide to Sales PC all necessary drawings, RFI, etc. to finalize sales proposal
Work with Sales PM to finalize scope and necessary drawings
Able to read, understand and interpret job packets and drawings
Create the digital file and any clean-up necessary to make the file usable.
Communicate with the Project Coordinators, Sales, and Project Managers on any issue of potential problems that may arise.
Quality control is very important - if there is an issue with the material or digital system that will create an issue with the job your immediate supervisor must be notified
Follow company safety policies and procedures
Select correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction.
Require Skills & Experience
4-7 years of experience in the cabinet manufacturing industry
High Proficiency with Cabinet Vision, Auto-CAD, and other Engineering computer programming.
Proficient with manufacturing process and equipment used
Proficient with design layouts and understanding of cabinet & countertop standards
Good communication skills & professional presence
Able to work longer hours if need be
Must be prudent, ethical, and use good judgment
Must be self-motivated
Must be problem solver
Needs to take pride in their work
The ability to follow a schedule and meet deadlines
The ability to work independently as well as within a team.
