LendKey currently works with approximately 275 credit unions and banks to manage student loan and home improvement loan programs.



LendKey is seeking an experienced Security Engineer professional to lead its security monitoring and incident response program. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for security monitoring and incident investigations who is able to mobilize cross-functional teams to effectively plan and execute crisis response.



Responsibilities:

Help to design and implement infrastructure to protect the LendKey network; Manage and improve security event logging infrastructure
Conduct sophisticated security reviews of core infrastructure
Providing security best practices to engineering teams
Designing and implementing security defenses in both network and applications
Vulnerability Scanning and Ethical Hacking
Be the first response and remediation for security-related incidents
Participate in gathering information for client, vendor, and audit requests
REQUIREMENTS

Looking For:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of security experience
8+ years of overall experience
Core concepts of Incident Response
Knowledge of information security principles, including risk assessments, advanced persistent threats
Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining policies or procedures
Knowledge of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts
Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+ preferred
