Senior Software Engineer at Livongo Health

Livongo is looking for Backend Engineers to develop new features, design and implement APIs, and build integrations to 3rd party services, as we quickly automate and scale critical business processes and tools.

You will:
Work with technologies such as Scala, Play Framework, MySQL, RabbitMQ, docker, Splunk.
Work with a range of processes and systems to own and solve problems end-to-end, in areas such as Billing, Commerce, Enrollment, and Communication.
Build new features for both internal and external users.
Collaborate with stakeholders in product, infrastructure, and operations.

You should have:
Solid understanding of data structures, object-oriented design, concurrency, algorithms.
Familiarity with functional programming.
Experience designing, building, using REST APIs.
Experience working with databases or NoSQL.
Experience working with asynchronous messaging and distributed processing.
Proficiency in Scala, Java, node.js, or Python.

Livongo Health is on a mission to change how healthcare is delivered to people with chronic conditions around the world, starting with diabetes in the US.
