Senior UX Designer at Talkdesk
San Francisco, CA, US
What are we doing?
At Talkdesk - a 2016 Forbes Cloud 100 Company - we’re reimagining how people experience call centers. We’re building products, without all the complexity, that truly transform how our customers conduct business over the phone (a $22B market that is ripe for disruption). We impact hundreds of thousands of people by designing tools that help drive empathy in human interactions through technology. Our impressive list of customers includes Shopify, Box, Anki, DoorDash, Edmunds and Qualys.
What does this role do?
We are seeking a Senior Experience Designer to help tackle deeply complex usability problems. We’re looking for designers who can see beyond “enterprise call center” and can execute on a vision for what modern customer communication could become. You’ll be performing research, creating wireframes and user flows, designing and testing. We have a number of personas to consider and wide range of work flows that vary from customer to customer. You’ll be backing up your solutions with data while balancing the complexity of customization with ease of use.
What do you want?
If you are a self-motivated systems thinker who is happiest when solving highly ambiguous, multi-faceted problems in elegantly simple ways, then you’ll enjoy how we work at Talkdesk. If you’re looking for the opportunity to help craft our UX practice on a small team that is growing quickly - Talkdesk could be the right design environment for you. If you like knowing that one small change you make can improve the daily workflow of thousands of agents or supervisors or admins, you’ll enjoy working here.
What do we need?
As an experience designer you are equal parts research and interaction designer. You enjoy complex design challenges, validating ideas with data and customer feedback and building prototypes.
