We have awesome investors (DFJ, Salesforce Ventures and Storm Ventures), a superb team of 220 employees worldwide, and we’re looking for a Vice President of Human Resources to help us shape the future of Talkdesk. You will report directly to the COO and oversee Human Resources for the entire Talkdesk San Francisco organization.

Requirements:

Table Stakes: Operations and Systems Management

Create processes to help Human Resources efficiently scale
Maintain a system of record for Human Resources data with high integrity
Provide accurate and timely reports on Human Resources data
Create and oversee all employment practices and policies to ensure company compliance
Oversee facilities and plans for global growth
New Employee Onboarding

Optimize our world-class onboarding program to meet the needs of our global team (e.g., optimization of tools and equipment, training, feedback and facilitation of new employee assimilation into team culture)
Collaborate with team leads to optimize department-specific new hire expectations and standards
Implement surveys to identify early performance indicators and engagement levels of new hires
Optimize our current benefits package and recognition and rewards program
Talent Retention

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
Provide performance management guidance to managers and executives (coaching, career development, performance feedback)
Create career tracks and opportunities for advancement
Create a professional development program
Formalize our employee volunteer/philanthropy program
Own workforce and succession planning
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related field
8+ years of Human Resources experience
2+ years fast growing Startup experience
Track record of building a high-performing Human Resources team
Prior experience leading Human Resources teams for globally distributed workforces
Human Resources Generalist experience (workforce planning, compensation practices, safety, training, organizational diagnosis/development, benefits, performance management, diversity, employment laws and employment practices)
Expert in state, federal and international employments regulations
Demonstrated business acumen (intellectually curious about organizational systems and structures and informed about emerging industry trends)
Record of success partnering with management and executive team
Technologically astute with experience with HRIS systems and project management tools
Ability to develop strong trusting relationships in a demanding and high-performing work environment
